No LJ until Sunday night?
Feb. 4th, 2006 12:42 amVery quick update before I pack for tomorrow. Fortunately it's just two outfits, toiletries, sleeping bag and Medieval dress and crown, so shouldn't take too long.
My dress is fab :-D :-D :-D *excited*
Good job I decided to double-check the train times for tomorrow: the train I booked on no longer exists, and the replacement bus leaves 16 MINUTES earlier. How much more stupid can the train company be?
---And on a related note, train companies out there, here's a little thought for you: if I wanted to travel by bus I would've booked National Express, which is FAR MORE COMFORTABLE and CHEAPER!!! Karl (who came round tonight via my parents' for a flying visit) and I are thinking of starting a campaign to get mega discounts on ticket prices if you have to go by bus replacement when you've booked a train ticket.---
I'm tempted to get on the next London train and go to Cambridge that way, even though it means braving London on a Saturday for the second time in a month. Fortunately I had a feeling something like this would happen so I splashed out and got a more flexible ticket.
Anyway, will probably not have Net access until I get back on Sunday, so TTFN, folks. I'll post photos if there're any good 'uns.
